What does a business energy broker do?
We compare business gas and electricity prices from our panel of more than 35 suppliers, explain your options in plain English and handle the switch for you, so you do not have to ring round suppliers yourself.
Is your service free?
Yes, there is no fee to use us. Like most UK business energy brokers, we are paid a commission by the supplier you choose, which is included in your unit rate. We will always tell you what it is before you agree a contract.
Do you cover business gas and electricity?
Yes. We compare business electricity and business gas, separately or together, for small and growing businesses such as shops, salons, cafes, offices and factories.
When should I compare my business energy?
Ideally a few months before your current contract ends, so you can secure a new price in good time. If your contract has already ended you are probably paying higher out of contract rates, so it is worth comparing now.
Will my supply be cut off when I switch?
No. Only the company that bills you changes. Your meter, wires and pipes stay the same, and your energy keeps flowing throughout the switch.
What do I need to get a quote?
Just your name, business name, phone number and postcode. A recent bill helps, because it shows your usage, meter details and current rates, but it is not essential.
